Can we talk about how sassy and classic this blooming sapphire dress is for the holidays? I absolutely love the drop waist with the ruffled skirt; the floral pattern is very flattering and a wonderful blue for fall. I paired this with a burgundy pea coat with a hint of lace; it really makes the dress pop! I kept the heels and purse solid colors so this entire look was cohesive, I definitely recommend Bitter Root Vintage if you are looking for holiday dresses, you can find the selection here. Guess what Bitter Root Vintage has also let me offer a giveaway for a pair of red Solar Earrings, enter below! Good luck.
He Said:
Today’s outfit reminds me of a Fran the Nanny especially when she is wearing this coat; I feel she is on her way to watch kids, in New York…Obviously, I prefer this outfit without her coat as the sex appeal is increased dramatically. The heels flow so nice with her dress, but then her jacket looks great with her bag. She did a great job making sure her outfit looks amazing with layered pieces. Overall, not my favorite outfit on her, but I do like the colors together.

The revolutionary KISS InstaWave is a fully automatic curler that instantly creates beautiful, long-lasting curls with ease, seriously my new favorite curler! I was a little intimidated at first but I actually love how simple it is, it literally does all of the work for you. It actually took me half of the time to do loose curls than with my other curler. No Need to Be a Pro, simply place a section of hair on the InstaWave and leave the rest of the curling to the InstaWave.
Grey is one of my favorite colors. Some don’t think of it as a color, others love 50 shades of grey; I love a subtle grey hue. Grey goes with everything, and any style, girly, edgy, fashion forward – you name it. I picked an edgier look today with my Natalie Ellington shoulder bag, peplum leather jacket and black Paige Jeans. I love that I can literally fill this handbag with weekend attire and hit the road. It is so soft and the leather handles are beautiful, the color is stunning and it matches my buckle strap heels. What is your favorite color, and looking for handbags this season, Ellington Handbags has an amazing selection. Enter my Giveaway ends 11/20
He Said:
This outfit is very hot; I love her leather jacket and the way it plays off her striped shirt. I also like how I can actually see her heels which seem to be a rare event recently. But what I cannot seem to get a hold of is why her large bag. I mean really, what could you be carrying that you need a bag this big, I can understand if you’re going bowling, which makes sense. This is the perfect size bag for a bowling ball or two. Perfect bowling outfit.

She Said: Happy Thursday, I wanted to share a few rhinestone beauties you could add to your holiday wishlist! How amazing are each of these sparkly flats, they are all reasonably priced. I have a similar pair that I adore and they look fabulous with skinny jeans or a flared skirt. Which are your favorite? What are you guys asking for on your wishlists?
She Said: Oh to be comfortable, this to me is the perfect Friday outfit! All around comfort in fall clothing, YES! for cooler weather for about a split second. This green and black cardigan I found at Forever 21 and I absolutely love the color. Plus, the color online actually matches how it appears in person, love when they are spot on, am I right? I paired it with a statement necklace for a touch of glam. Yet, all in all denim and a pair of boots are casual and easy going look that I am going to live in this weekend, what about you? Happy FRIDAY! Also, Happy Birthday Dad!
He Said:
I like her outfit but not so much the colors. This green just looks cheap to me and does not fit in. I cannot help but image how much better this would look with a different color cardigan, like tan or red. I will give her that she looks very comfortable + huggable. Everything else just looks plain, girl next door.
She Said: All of these Mavy Savvy looks are well under $100 or less, some $50 or less! These are a few outfits I think would be perfect for Thanksgiving. The festive outfit fits the color scheme of Turkey Day. Mavy Savvy has everything from tops and dresses to accessories and swimwear. I love that everything is super affordable and stylish! Which outfit would you wear for Thanksgiving?
I was asked by my friend Ashley (from kingmanhyundai.com) to share a look on what to wear when attending a casual cocktail holiday party in a cold city; only preference was to wear pants. I think the best way to keep your outfit glam is to incorporate corduroy pants. They are super soft, usually really stretchy and are a step up from regular denim fabrics. These AG Jean cords are super fun with a hint of a bootcut flare at the bottom. I paired it with a simple black tank and structured tuxedo vest with lace in back. You could also pair a leather jacket, blazer or a peacoat if it’s snowing. I added hints of red to keep it festive for the holidays. I also shared Thanksgiving holiday looks yesterday that are affordable under $75. I hope this gives you some inspiration Ashley! Guess what, I have another giveaway! You all have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Sweet and Spark, ends on Thanksgiving Day!
He Said:
I like her outfit today but that’s it, it seems very simple to me. Vests are just hard to make look sexy or famine, something about cut off sleeves reminds me of Larry the Cable Guy. On the bright side I love the pops of red in her heels and bag as well as her lipstick; they look great against the black. Overall I would love to see this outfit with no vest and a full sleeve jacket but the colors are great for a holiday party.

Funny enough yesterday I wore black corduroys and today I felt like wearing a chestnut pair of corduroys by AG Jeans, as you can tell they are my go to pair of pants recently. I was looking through my closet and realized I only have one jacket that has elbow patches and I love them. They transform a plain outfit into a preppy one. This sweater is great for our semi cooler weather; I can throw it on when I get a little chilly. I kept the colors simple and adore with these black booties. I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair, and I found them from The Mint Julep Boutique. They have a great heel height; the ankle detail is simple and goes with any pair of jeans I own. Do you like elbow patches and corduroys?
Don’t forget to enter my giveaway, you could win $25 to Sweet and Spark, ends Thanksgiving.
He Said:
I love elbow patches, they remind me of a country girl. Therefore, naturally I love her jacket. I used to hate this color of brown but as I got older I learned to love it. This outfit looks great on her; she has a great balance of mature, sophisticated class mixed in with a tiny bit of sex appeal. The contrast with her pants and boots also go well for a great fall outfit.
I have so much to be thankful for this year. I got engaged to my best friend, a chance to work with Zappos and featured in People StyleWatch Magazine. In addition, turning 27 which I know is going to be a wonderful year. I am also very elated and honored that each and every one of you visit our blog, I love all of your sweet comments and emails. I am so thankful for all of you!!! Today is all about colors that make my life brighter and more holiday festive. This yellow blazer is such a bright color, how could you not smile when you see it? This summer blazer transitions into a fall with a tartan plaid scarf, the hottest trend this season. My favorite store to get scarves are Forever 21 because they are so reasonably priced and you can never just buy one. So be honest, how many plaid scarves do you own? I have about 6! Also what are you thankful for this year? Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving <3.
I am not sure about this jacket shape. It would look so good if it did not have these ridiculous shoulder pads. The shoulders on her jacket really ruin the whole outfit. I love the color concept and her jeans fit her extremely well and the red shoes look very cute. The Kardashian shoulders going on are a huge turn off and mainly because it looks comical. If she could lose the jacket or replace it with a semi normal looking blazer, this outfit would be very cute and attractive.

Did you have a great Thanksgiving and long weekend? Mine was simple. We relaxed, I shopped online and felt like I did some deep cleaning over the weekend. Starting December off with a glamorous outfit, in a classic all white jumpsuit, similar to Amal Alamuddin's, George Clooney’s Wife weekend outfit (she was stunning!) My jumpsuit is sleeveless with detailed leather piping; you can’t go wrong with a little bit of leather with a tuxedo feel. I would also recommend a leather jacket over, but it’s still warm in SoCal, therefore, I left it off. I adore this raspberry Kara purse for a pop of the holiday IT color. These black stilettos are suitable so the pants would not drag. Jumpsuits are simple, elegant and a statement all on their own, do you like styling jumpsuits?
He Said:
I have never seen a jumper that I do not like. This jumper is so sexy with its crisp white and sharp lines with black accents. It blows my mind that these jumpers are as hot as they are because for the most part they are not revealing or tight fitting at all, but that’s the point I suppose. And when you are wearing one of these neither the bag or shoes really matter, no one is looking at those things anyways.
I love the look of an all denim outfit like today's! It can be classy, edgy or all dark like I paired mine. Any denim paired together could work, there are so many different verities’ and options. I picked a darker hue to mix with a neutral brown tone. Intertwining gold statements like this tassel necklace, Michael Kors monogrammed belt with a hint of leopard, really works against an all denim look head to toe, wouldn’t you agree? I really love how this can be dressed up with pumps or casual with these quilted BearPaw boots in a two tone mix! These will be essential when we go to NE for Christmas. Would you rock head to toe denim for fall?
He Said:
Whoa, this is a lot of denim. To me it is too overpowering. I feel like if Jay Leno were a girl, this would be his outfit. The bag is cute and the boots are great for cooler weather, which we are about to get. If she had toned down her denim to only the jeans and really any other top - this outfit would be ok in my book.
You know that outfit you just love; you want to wear it over and over, yep found it. For me it is this one, ultra girlie and ready for winter. Bring on the cold weather baby. I love the fit and flare dress with long sleeves from Design History, in a color blocking pattern. I added a gold belt for a hint of glitz and glam and to add dimension. It would not be complete with these platform over the knee boots. There are so many options in stores right now, they go with dresses and denim. I call these my winter boots. I keep them stored until our weather drops and wear them as often as I can. Do you ladies have a favorite pair of over the knee boots that you can’t wait to wear when the weather is cooler? Happy Wednesday.
He Said:
I love the boots and I love the dress, but I am not sure if they work together. The hat just does not go well at all. It reminds me of a witch’s hat for Halloween. I don’t know if the boots are too tall above her knee or the dress is too long in length but this is not working. I like how the colors work together but not my favorite outfit.
I am a huge fan of grey; it is my favorite color. I styled an easy holiday outfit for a smaller gathering. I love mixing textures and seasonal pieces when it comes to layering. I added this ultra plush cowl neck sweater from Forever 21, its reasonable with the quality factor. It fits true to size and I love that adding a shiny crystal necklace and cluster of gem earrings turns up the holiday flare. What makes this perfect for a holiday party is the bits of glam and neutral grey, perfect for a smaller gathering of co-workers. I love this Bebe shredded shirt, it is timeless which will never go out of style. I opted for a lighter lip but a red lip would also be fitting. How do you feel about an all grey outfit for the holidays?
He Said:
I love her in grey and this pop of yellow on her bag is perfect. The sweater looks so comfy, although it seems mismatched. A sweater with a short skirt does not make sense, at first glance. After seeing it on her, it looks great paired together and this to me is a very girlie and on point outfit. She looks happy to be wearing it; showing she has confidence. This outfit is banging with its great colors that pop. Its sexy without being too revealing and she’s got bling!
She Said: Happy Friday, I wanted to share with you a few Kipling gifts you can either stuff in stockings or give to your co-workers for the holidays. These bags are a great way to fit these in your everyday makeup routine. A few different sized makeup bags are always a great necessity! Use discount code: HOLIDAYS30 to redeem this exclusive offer! This would make a wonderful gift or you can spoil yourself? (ends 12/22)

She Said: In partnership with Zappos I styled my new Paige jeans and Freebird boots for the Holiday season. I styled my Skyline Skinny Paige Denim jeans which go effortlessly with these Freebird Boots with a hint of plaid for a festive holiday outfit. My Paige jeans have an ultra soft fabric, they are deep black and the best part, they are made in Los Angeles. They are pristine and detailed in every which way. As our story continues to evolve, we remain devoted to the details. They only partner with the best wash-houses in the country. I love the one on one care they give each pair and it shows.
These lace-up boho Coal Freebird by Steven boots are perfect for the holidays. I have been wearing them over and over and never want to take them off. Each pair starts with carefully selected materials and is finished with extreme attention to detail, going through 5 or 6 final steps to ensure each pair is one of a kind. Their original designs inspired by vintage Americana and created using time-honored craftsmanship are a unique way to finish any look. That is what makes a great buy for a pair of Freebird boots.

He Said:
I love the vivid colors in her jacket today. Her Paige jeansgo perfectly with her Freebird boots; speaking of her boots they are high on the sexy scale with the lace-up leather back. Overall, her outfit looks amazing except there could be more done with her shirt it is a little plain when the jacket and boots stand out. Her Paige jeans perfectly hug her body; I hope she will get more of these!

Oh how I love tulle skirt and so do you based on my instagram post this weekend. I wore this Saturday to the PVJR’s Women’s Club Holiday Fundraiser to support women and children in crisis with my mom. It was a holiday theme but I opted for a white and black with a hint of burgundy. I am in love with burgundy for winter, it is so passionate and such a deep hue it goes with everything. I love my Girl that loves tulle skirt, it is so flirty and everyone seemed to love it at the gathering. There is something magical about twirling in tulle, try it some time. My outfit definitely brings out the little girl and holiday spirit.
He Said:
I think her black shirt makes her look a tad top heavy, but not in a bad way. I love her in black and I normally like tulle skirts but this outfit is beautiful and well done. I love how she paired her bag with her heel. Overall, the top is distracting but once you get past that she actually looks pretty good in this tool skirt, unlike many others I have seen her in. I can see her wearing this again before the holidays are over.
I have always wanted to try the separates trend. I like them; they allow you to mix and match, come in fun colors/prints and look fabulous on everyone. I do own this pink short set separates that was sold together. Today’s outfit though I took too completely purchased items and combined them, because they do look very similar witch checkered and stripes. I thought I could get away with it. I love this flare skirt; it is so playful and great for the holidays without being over the top. I added this super discounted sweater I found at H&M a while back and think it complements the skirt nicely. I added a lace up bootie which looking now I feel like I look like Cher on Clueless (haha). I think it’s totally fine to pair similar prints. What do you think about this outfit?
He Said:
This outfit is smoking hot - plain and simple. The skirt and the pattern on the sweater both remind me of Iggy Azalea, which of course is ridiculously hot. The heels have that boxy look to them which is sexier than just a normal heel. There is something special about this skirt; it makes her legs look incredible, more incredible than then normal. She did an amazing job with today’s outfit!
If you have not noticed, I clearly love a good dose of tulle in my life. This blush tulle though is captivating and girlie. I love how it looks with cognac and neutrals. I think this outfit would be a great date night look. I added a rugged style leather jacket and leopard goes perfectly with tulle and leather, wouldn’t you agree. These BCBG heels are amazing; they have just the right amount of height with a beautiful curve around my foot and not to mention the leopard fabric is flawless. I love that literally these heels and clutch go hand in hand; you will see many more holiday looks soon. Happy Friday, I hope this outfit brightens your day as it does mine!
He Said:
Last time she wore a tulle skirt, I didn’t really like it and same goes for today. She looks cute and everything, but cute is for children, not a grown women. All of this animal print is too much, it is very easy to go overboard with animal print and she is walking that fine line. The only good item that stands out and I approve of is her jacket. The jacket is that perfect sexy shade of brown, the style, fit and color are almost never disappointing.
